ABOUT

IDRIS TALIB SOLOMON is a commercial and unit photographer based in New York City. He built his photography practice on over a decade as a creative director in advertising, marketing, and entertainment.

In 2020, he founded the Black Shutter Podcast, a platform celebrating Black photographers.

Idris is a Fulbright Fellow (Accra, Ghana, 2016), an Eddie Adams Workshop alumnus and faculty member, and an active member of the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600).
